Seng La

Seng is a Chartered Accountant who has been working in accounting since 1999. Seng holds a degree in Commerce from the University of Sydney, with majors in Accounting and Commercial Law. Seng developed her diverse skill set at a number of chartered accountancy and commercial practices. She began her career in a big 5 accounting firm in audit before broadening her experience working in accounting/tax consulting in various tax agencies as well as working in a big bank and a family office. Her clients have ranged from non-profit organisations, private enterprises and ultra high net worth family groups. Since 1999, Seng has held a special interest in not for profit organisations in particular, community based charities and trade unions. With her team at Refuge Accounting, Seng finds great joy in helping clients implement and maintain user friendly accounting systems.
In her spare time, Seng enjoys taking long walks with mates, watching foreign films, photography and playing sports like Ultimate Frisbee, AFL and Soccer with her family at local parks.
Luan La

Luan holds a Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Computer Systems with First Class Honours, with the University of Technology, Sydney.
Luan is primarily responsible for ensuring the operations of Refuge Accounting are efficient and remain up to date with information technology, with a particular emphasis on continuous improvement of our cloud based accounting policies and procedures. Luan is also undertaking post graduate studies in accounting.

My Hoa Tran

My Hoa holds a master’s degree in commerce majoring in accounting from the University of Sydney. My Hoa is also a Xero Certified Advisor and maintains Xero Payroll Certifications.
My Hoa is responsible for the management accounting, statutory and funding compliance requirements of her not-for-profit client base (primarily charities and trade unions) using Xero and other integrated applications such as DEXT. My Hoa has specialist skills in Xero bills and Xero payroll. My Hoa has an excellent eye for detail and offers a dedicated, caring approach to all her clients.
In My Hoa’s spare time, she enjoys watching K-drama, reading, baking and travelling to new destinations.
